Our team is located at the base of Mt. Si in scenic North Bend, Washington about 30 minutes from Seattle. We are committed to working and living our passions through travel adventure and the outdoors. Our passions hone our collaborative focus on usability, sustainability and great design driven by both market need and user interest.

Our founder, Jesse Thompson, started his outdoor industry career at the age of 15 at the iconic Moss Tents in Camden, Maine. He went on to The University of Vermont to study Design and experience the world-class outdoor recreation opportunities and industry community in Burlington and the surrounding area. He was recruited by Dana Design in Bozeman, Montana, and eventually went on to be the Head of Softgood Design both there and at K2, its parent company. At both companies, he was responsible for numerous patents, revolutionary designs and manufacturing development practices as well as managing teams and corporate responsibilities. In 2003, he founded Industrial Alchemy and in 2007 teamed up with partner Melissa Jaten to establish the business as a leader in Product Design and Development across various industries. With a focus on innovation and longevity, we have contributed to over 30 patents and make it our goal to develop long term relationships with all of our clients.
