Over the years we’ve been involved in a wide variety of projects with Outdoor Research from handwear to packs and bags. For the award winning Lodestar Glove, IA leveraged a new clothing material with a hands on, designed in the studio approach to create a unique high performance product with outstanding fit and use range. It won the 2013 Backpacker’s Editors Choice Award and also ISPO Gold. Using the same studio developed ideas and fast to test sampling, OR’s Splitter Crack Gloves are innovative and are now used on crack climbs around the world ridding pristine places of errant bits of cloth tape and chalk garbage. In addition to handwear, we also have designed a variety of waterproof bags and packs storage system pieces, including SUP bags, hiking packs and commuter packs.
